Starting this morning at 9:30, artists arrived at Art on
Broadway with inventory sheets and art for the Washington County Open Studios
tour Sneak Preview Exhibit.
Barbara Martin, Peg Silloway, WCOS artists and event
coordinators, along with gallery director, Donna Sanson were on hand to check
in watercolor and acrylic paintings, weaving, porcelain, horsehair raku,
encaustic paintings and glass sculptures.
“It’s quite a nice balance of 2 dimensional and 3
dimensional art this year,” said Donna Sanson.
The show will open tomorrow, September 2nd and runs through
October 3rd. The Opening
Reception is Saturday, September 12 from 6 to 9 pm at Art on Broadway, 12570 SW
Broadway in Beaverton, Oregon.
And an added bonus is seeing this wonderful show during the
Beaverton Frist Friday celebration on September 4th. Art on Broadway will be open on Friday until
9 pm.
